OK, the term “classic” is being used loosely today, but t.A.T.u.’s “All The Things She Said” is pretty well know for a track performed by a pair of Russian faux lesbians. Certainly it’s a catchy enough number, and Italian alternative act Halflives have just rattled off a cover of it, assisted by Mercedes Arn-Horn from Courage My Love.
Courage My Love and Halflives toured Europe and the UK together in May/June 2016 and after that the two artists started to work on the cover. It’s fairly faithful to the original, perhaps a tad more rocky, but at least let’s hope the performers are somewhat less homophobic than the original ones.
