Bloodsoaked have a new album out on September 2nd called Religious Apocalypse. As you may guess from their name and that of the LP, they’re generally a pretty heavy act, best fitting into the death metal genre.
Both covers feature the distortion and harsh vocals you’d expect from Bloodsoaked, while the songs themselves are otherwise pretty much untouched – and this includes the occasionally indulgent, and very non-death metal squeal of a bent and whammy-bar’d note.
Nice to see a heavier band demonstrating both a sense of humour and a respect for something very much outside of their genre. I can also tell you that the album itself is pretty good as I’ve had a listen to it. And the rest of the stuff is much heavier than these tracks!
