Simple things first – where are you from?
Omaha, Nebraska.
How long have you been playing as a solo act?
Since the 90’s.
What are your influences?
George Benson, Roy Clark, Anthony Lockett, Charlie Singleton , Jesse Johnson and Tony MacAlpine.
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
Through I exist within the Metal realm most of my inspiration comes from Funk and R&B . Very few if any guys on the heavier side of things have that story . From a rhythmic perspective I might go in a direction another guy might not ever think of because it is not part of their musical vocabulary.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
I only have two vocal songs on this record. Those song address social conditions and a loss of love from a person that once loved you.

What’s your live show like?
Interactive. I like to talk to people at a certain juncture of my set. I want to leave them feeling that I care.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
Man, I am not going to put that in an interview! Ha!
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
I lived in Japan so I have a Japan only Fernandes guitar and , a custom made guitar by a company called Strictly 7 from Ohio I also used a variety of amps on this record. One of things that I have embraced is IN EAR monitors. It has saved my hearing!
You recently released a new album, 2 Live in O- Ma- Haw, Lyvv in Omaha tell us about the story of how the album came to be.
It was birthed by being away from home for so long and , noticing changes in the city . That lead me to interviewing people of the city which lead me to recording a live record. Shining a light on a city noone knows about; Omaha.
What are your plans for the next 6 months or so?
Just non-stop promotion in every way possible!
