Hi! I’m Alice and I’m from Brighton, UK.
How long have you been playing as a solo act?
I started just before the pandemic but I really came into my own when everything started opening up again in 2021! I’ve tried bands beforehand but being a solo act definitely gave me a lot more freedom to make my own music and more especially with the Live Shows!
Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
People wonder why they call me a Princess… It’s because I’m a royal pain in the ass!
What are your influences?
I absolutely love electronicore acts like Electric Callboy, We Butter The Bread With Butter and Enter Shikari! I love how they can make heavy riffs that you can dance to as well!
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
I like to think that my different influences from drag, emo and even idol metal come together to make something unique that no one else is doing at the moment.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
A lot of my lyrics are based off of my own experiences admittedly. Especially as a trans-woman I’ve been able to write songs that aren’t really talked about in the mainstream.

What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
Gay Chaotic Seance. I love combining my love of shock rock and drag together to make a show that also involves everyone as well!
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
A literal wall of hugs! It’s so wholesome and amazing to see!!!
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
Live, I play keytars of all things! It’s definitely unique plus opens up a lot of possibilities that I can do by myself!
What, if anything, are you plugging/promoting at the moment?
My EP Outer Demons comes out on August 18th and the next single “mon-STAR” comes out on 26th July!
What are your plans for the next 6 months or so?
On the same day I release my new EP I’ll be headlining the Green Door Store in Brighton with my biggest show yet with some amazing acts I’ve wanted to work with for ages! I’ve also been looking into an AI Project at the moment which has opened up some huge opportunities that I’ve not been able to pursue until now!
If you were second on a three-band bill, which band would you love to be supporting and which band would you choose to open for you? A chance to plug someone you’ve toured with, or a mate’s band we’ve not heard of before!
I would love to open for Electric Callboy & Scene Queen! It would be the ultimate Gay, Fun Chaotic Show!
