Saint Petersburg, Russia.
How did you meet?
We worked together for Russian mafia: Contraband drugs, cigarettes, weapons, etc.
How long have you been playing as a band?
4 years
Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
Our previous guitarist invented this name of the band. But he used to eat a lot fly-agaric mushrooms, so we don’t know what does the name of the band means.

What are your influences?
Melvins, Faith No More, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Beastie Boys.
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
Listening to RAF’s tracks you can feel ecstasy in places of your body, the existence of which does not know the anatomy! Deadly diseases, hurricanes and mental hospitals are named after our songs. Our style is Killing Rock.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
Yes! Song named “Doors”. Here is the chorus:

What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
The famous orgy scene from The Perfumer was inspired by our shows. It’s about 100!
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
Usually our singer Gordey goes to bar in the club to get some vodka when the guitarist Zatoichi is playing guitar solos or smash himself with mic. Bass player Pavel usually jump to the crowd or sits with girls at the bar and plays on the instrument… It’s regular things in Russia, so we don’t do anything wild.
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
We use the biggest drum kit in Europe and Russia. 1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 mouth.
What, if anything, are you plugging/promoting at the moment?
We tried to release a new single from the album every month. Each time changing everything at the last moment: lyrics, presentation, guitars, arrangements. Always looking at those crazy things that happened in 2020. So you can check the new LP Chameleon from 8th Dec 2020.

What are your plans for the next 6 months or so?
We going to publish new singles at few videos then go on tour in Europe.
