Simple things first – where are you guys from?
Kenny: Central NJ
Josh: I usually say New York City so we seem cool.
How did you meet?
Kenny: Me And Josh had a band back in third grade where we poorly played “Smoke on the Water”, got bored, and then played some Pokémon. Josh met Mike in college and then we slid into Jesse’s DMs on facebook.
Josh: Agreed.
How long have you been playing as a band?
Kenny: About 3 years now

Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
Josh: Me and Kenny were on a hike in the Adirondack Mountains when we saw two graves being dug on a stormy night.
Kenny: It’s true.
What are your influences?
Josh: Definitely Kero Kero Bonito. I also like happy sunflowers and the movie, Akira.
Kenny: Make Them Suffer, Kanye West, Deviloof
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
Josh: We like to play happy music. We are a nice blend of rock and roll and heavier styles as well.
Kenny: Heavy guitar, pretty piano, blast beats, and Mike yelling his head off for no goddamn reason
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
Kenny: Sad
Josh: I have never heard the lyrics.
What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
Josh: Sickening delusions of grandeur. We’ve played a fair few shows at this point. A few dozen I’d say. We’re definitely looking to tour a bunch coming up.
Kenny: Loud and wild
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
Kenny: Some dude picked up a merch table and ran into the crowd with it.
Josh: Yeah that was silly.
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
Josh: I do not play a drum kit. But, I play a Strandberg guitar through a happy Kemper.

What are your plans for the next 12 months?
Kenny: Drop a hot album on ‘em and maybe tour if its not against the law by then
Josh: I wanna tour, especially if it’s against the law.
If you were second on a three-band bill, which band would you love to be supporting and which band would you choose to open for you? A chance to plug someone you’ve toured with, or a mate’s band we’ve not heard of before!
Josh: I want to open for The Gazette, and have MEtalica open for us.
Kenny: I wanna open for Make them Suffer and Son of Michel can open. What a powerful lineup.
