Mr. X and I are East Coast born and West Coast raised.
How did you meet?
In AA.
How long have you been playing as a band?
Both have been playing for life. Together, we’ve been playing since April 2019.
Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
G.O.D
What are your influences?
Sex. Drugs. Rock n Roll.
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
We are coscore. Music for cosplay / killer wardrobe / new sound. It’s new industrial with visual elements. Marilyn Manson meets us in 2020.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
We harp reality.
What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
Our live shows are going to be more insane than Manson’s were in the 90’s.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
At Soma Live 1993 POD headlined and I stage dove and the crowd did not catch me.
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
Fractal Axe FX; Fractal Audio Axe FX-II; MFC-101 Mark III (Pedalboard).
What, if anything, are you plugging/promoting at the moment?
Our next video, “People Are People” by Depeche Mode.
What are your plans for 2020?
2019 is over. 2020 is our year.
If you were second on a three-band bill, which band would you love to be supporting and which band would you choose to open for you? A chance to plug someone you’ve toured with, or a mate’s band we’ve not heard of before!
