A short but sweet one for your Tuesday.
Well we’re all from different places like Liverpool, Brighton & Croydon but we class London as our home town.
How did you meet?
Well most of us met actually on Join My Band but a couple of us had previously played in a old college band before.
How long have you been playing as a band?
Our first gig was in February 2018 but we met a bit earlier to practice. So exactly 646,560 minutes (at time of writing).
Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
A song by Every Time I Die called “C++”
What are your influences?
Neck Deep, The Shaggs, Story So Far, Trash Boat & Trophy Eyes.
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
That we use a wide range of sounds and influences from all different bands and artists so that transfers to our music to where we’re not pigeonholed and able to play with all types of bands/audiences.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
All of our lyrical content is from personal moments/stories & recollections from our past as that’s what we know and are passionate about.
What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
Energetic, personal, interactive & just generally a great time. During our short time together we’ve played all over the UK multiple times.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
When we played with Trophy Eyes on their last UK tour John (their vocalist) got a beer handed to him from the back of the venue by the crowd.
What kit do you use / guitars do you play / etc.?
- Fender Telecaster
- Fender Power Caster
- Fender 59” P bass
- Mesa Boogie 4×12 cabinet
- Orange Rockerverb 2 head
- Kemper guitar head
- Ampeg 8×10 cab
- Fender Bassman 800 head
- Ernie Ball strings
- Zildjan cymbals
- Tama drum kit
What, if anything, are you plugging/promoting at the moment?
Our new single “Break Me Down” which is out May 7th.
What are your plans for 2019?
To tour as much as physically possible & to continue to enjoy what we love to do!
If you were second on a three-band bill, which band would you love to be supporting and which band would you choose to open for you? A chance to plug someone you’ve toured with, or a mate’s band we’ve not heard of before!
The opener would be Coast To Coast their our favourite UK band at the minute. And the headliner would be The Story So Far because they’re the best band out there at the minute.
