You can never have enough pirate metal so let me introduce you to another wonderful band plying their trade beneath the skull, crossbones and distorted guitar. They sail forth from the filthy, lawless deathtrap that is Leeds, Yorkshire and were formed in 2007.
Eight years later and this five-piece have released a pair of albums which are currently available on Bandcamp for as many pieces of eight as you’d care to throw at them. Maybe even a groat or two. As long as they make enough to stay in hard tack and rum, I’m sure they’ll be happy.
The style they’ve gone for is traditional metal with an edge of thrash and melody. As with pretty much every other pirate metal band, Skull Branded Pirates throw a big dollop of fun and lunacy into the mix. So go give them a listen, buy a CD copy and give it some AAAAARRRRR!!!
