Trying to play “catch up” with the Band of the Day posts at the moment – apologies to the many I have in the queue! Today we swing by Portugal and brighten your lives a little with Killing.Electronica, a rock/ambient/alternative trio.
The band share musical duties with Marcos doing singing and percussion (and most of the songwriting); Ruben on drums and also percussion; and Ivo on guitar and backing vocals. Their sound is very laid back, but edgy. Something you can relax to, but still feel has a bit of bite.
Killing.Electronica released their debut album, Heartbeat Sessions, in 2011 and recently followed that up with album number two, The Greatest. There’s a track from it below so you can get a feel for their sound.
