Band of the Day: Titanium

Titanium band 192

[avatar user=”Mosh” size=”50″ align=”left” /]Poland gets another outing today with a band coveting the the wonderfully metallic name of Titanium. They’re from a town the name of which I’d probably completely fail to pronounce correctly (Ostrów Wielkopolski), which is a short drive away from the lovely city of Wrocław.

Titanium fall into the power metal bracket, with an edge of speed. Karol Mania, of symphonic metal band Pathfinder, started Titanium in 2010 and they’ve had an EP and a full-length self-titled album released since then. It’s wonderfully cheesy stuff – and I mean that in the nicest way – having an edge of DragonForce about it.

Having seen a live video on YouTube, they certainly look like an entertaining band on stage so here’s hoping they make it over here sometime. To whet your appetite, enjoy the lead single from the album “We Come To Rock”.
