[avatar user=”Mosh” size=”50″ align=”left” /]Azathoth Circle are from Kiev / Kyiv, Ukraine. They bill themselves as a female-fronted prog/post-metal group though I’d chuck in a fair bit of alternative influence as well.
I don’t have a lot of information about them, but they’ve got two self-released EPs out, both of which appeared last year. You can hear a few tracks on Reverbnation and they do have a good sound. Mixing the slow, easy listening of the more relaxed alternative bands with heavier sections and a small amount of harsh vocals, Azathoth Circle manage to be very accessible, easy to listen to and surprisingly heavy all at the same time.
