Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with sticking to a tried and tested formula and spinning your own version of it. Such is the case with BlackMamba from the NW of England.
They’re not genre-defining, but what they are is talented and good at what they do. Playing music that falls slap into the middle of the rock/metal category, with perhaps have a tinge of a Spanish influence due to the origins of founding brothers Jonny and James Garlo. Playing guitar and bass respectively, the band is completed by Dom on drums (and the all-important cow bell).
Founded in 2009, they released a 4-track EP in 2012 but apparently have a much larger repertoire that they currently reserve for their live show.
