Apparently, if Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, & Sevendust had a five headed love child, they’d name it Core Zero. This may heklp you decide if Core Zero are the band for you. Certainly they produce a nice heavy sound with wailing vocals and a solid groove.
The band come from Denver, not a city that seems to throw up many bands that I hear from. However, if there are more little gems like this bunch kicking around the mountains of Colorado could they please make themselves known?
Core Zero have been through a few line-up changes, but have settled on the current pentumvirate (I may have made that word up). They have one album out – Doxology – and do encourage fans to sign up for their newsletter to receive free songs as they’re released. Details on their web page.
