Formed from a pit full of molten steel in the dark days of the 1980s, Nightlord were a classic British thrash metal band. They threw out their special brand of neck-breaking heavy metal for a good few years and then, like many good things, came to an end.
But… in 2010 they resurfaced for a handful of anniversary gigs. Gigs which were successful enough to make the band realise that this whole “taking a break thing” had been a stupid idea.
Fast forward to 2013 and they’re on the road with Annihilator and have a new album on the way. That, my thrashy fellows, is more like it!
