Birmingham’s Bovine offer a heady mix of sludge and grunge, and have just released their debut album – The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire. It’s powerful, vitriolic and loud. Very loud.
There are elements of “space prog” in their sound, but they’re minimal in my opinion. What you have is a nice, bassy sound. It really reverberates and is ideal for annoying neighbours.
I don’t have a lot else on the, so – as ever – get those clicking fingers working, and I hope the bandcamp embed at the end of the article works this time.
