Zak from France’s post-metal/sludgecore offering Another End got in touch to point me in the direction of their EP Whispers From… I’m always happy to take a friendly hint so I downloaded it and… oooh. Cool.
I don’t have a lot of information on the band, but they were formed in 2011. The EP was recorded during Spring of this year and they managed to get a distribution deal through Canada’s Mulligore Production.
If you’re into music on the heavier/noisier side of the scale then these could be the French boys you’re looking for. Plenty of fast, head-battering sections interspersed with slower, heavier (somewhat progressive) segments to give your neck muscles a rest.
