Polar are apparently good friends with Heights who have made a few appearances on these pages. They’re from Guildford in Surrey (where Ford Prefect wasn’t actually from), and thump out their own brand of metal/hardcore.
I don’t have a lot of information on them other than that they’re a five piece who’ve been around since the end of 2009. They released a debut album, Iron Lungs, and next year are following it up with a new release.
There’s a fair bit of their material online and a recommendation from Heights is good enough for me. So check out their most recent video below, “Glass Cutter”, and the other links to get some of their older material.
