Rocking their way out of Göteborg (Gothenburg to those of us without a cool Swedish accent) are Bombus, a band with at least one album already out and a new one poised for release at the end of August (Europe) / star of September (US).
Their music’s described as influenced by the likes of the immortal Motorhead, Poison Idea and the like but with a light drizzling of a punk-y sauce. That does cover it – I actually had a little whisper at the back of my head saying “Offspring” gently as I listened to “Apparatus” – embedded below.
