New Band of the Day: Thunder and Lightning

Berlin. Germany. Not been there, but I hear it’s nice. Great social scene, a ton of history, nice people. And home to Thunder and Lightning.

Five guys who plays some really good old fashioned heavy metal, blending in some fast thrash sections with slow, melodic pieces. They manage to cover quite a few areas of the metal genre within a single song let along across an album.

They’ve got two albums out, and you can listen to a fair amount of their material online. Check out the video below and there’s a link at the start of it to more of their stuff.
