We featured the original version of this song in last year’s rundown, and it’s an interesting twist to hear it covered as a solo effort by a member of the actual band! Tommy Johansson plays guitar with Sabaton, but also sings and plays in a side project or two as well as doing other stuff. His voice couldn’t be anymore different from Joakim’s either!
You know he’d have to nail it given that he has to work with the two writers, and nail it he has. A great version of a song we already loved. The only annoyance is that none of his solo stuff is available on Spotify so we can’t add the track to our playlist. Boo!
