After last year’s dark, emotive and intellectual “Oh Tannenbaum” (done in the style of Rammstein), and 2012’s masterpiece of irony “Jingle Bell Metal“, Psychostick are back with another high-brow Christmas classic. This time they’ve opted to go all political, making a statement on the evils of corporate greed and commercialism during these times of – what should be – joy and love amongst people of all faith, denominations and non-faiths and… non… denominations.
Ah, who am I kidding? Psychostick have ripped off System of a Down’s “B.Y.O.B.” and chucked some seasonal lyrics all over it, then made a cheap-ass video to sell it to the masses.
Watch, giggle, enjoy and wait for them to tour again so we can all shout the song title at them until they get pissed off and play “Dogs Like Socks” instead.
