I don’t know if My Chemical Romance were taking the piss with this one, on drugs, fulfilling a childhood fantasy or just under (a very evil) contract. But they appeared on US kids’ TV show Yo Gabba Gabba! playing this number back in 2011. The programme looks like the twisted offspring of In The Night Garden and The Clangers without the charm of the latter or the nightmare-inducing weirdness of the former.
Was this the beginning of the end? Certainly it’s no “Black Parade”. More a “Technicolor Vomit-Inducing Parade – With Fur”.
