Most Anticipated Rock And Metal Albums In 2019

Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold is set to follow up their 2016 album release of The Stage with new material in 2019. The group, who will be celebrating their 20th year together in 2019, have so far released 7 studio albums, which have all gone down a storm with fans, who are now eagerly anticipating new music from the band behind “Mad Hatter” which appears in the latest Call of Duty game Black Ops 4.

Bring Me the Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon’s latest album Amo is due for release at the turn of the year, with the official release date January 11th. The Sheffielders received critical acclaim for their last album That’s The Spirit which was released in 2015 and will now be looking to build on the success of their last couple of albums.

Korn

Korn is one of the world’s biggest nu metal bands and have been around since 1993. The group, who hail from California, last released an album back in 2016 with The Serenity of Suffering performing admirably across the board. With Korn expected to drop new material next year, their loyal following is already waiting on more details on the project.

Lamb of God

Lamb of God actually released an album in May this year, but Legion: XX was released under their alternative guise of Burn The Priest. As Lamb of God, the band haven’t dropped a new studio album since the summer of 2015, with VII: Sturm und Drang doing exceptionally well in many countries around the world.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are by far and away one of the biggest American rock bands in history. Their last six studio albums have performed exceptionally well around the globe with mega sales recorded. 2016 saw their last release hit the market, with many suggesting the band will follow up The Getaway with impressive material as you’d expect from the industry big hitters.

Slipknot

Slipknot is a band who changed the face of the heavy metal scene considerably during the mid-90s, and they’re still going very strong still to this day. Their studio album releases always go down a hit around the world, and after a 4-year absence, the band look set to drop some new material in 2019 to build on the success of 5: The Gray Chapter. Anticipation of new music has also grown after Joey Jordison declared he has a ton of unheard-of Slipknot demos at home. The band has actually started the process with the release of a new track for Halloween “All Out Of Life”.
