Zebedy – Set the Pace track-by-track

North Wales angular rock crew Zebedy have received glowing comparisons to everyone from Karnivool and Reuben to Biffy Clyro. The highly-rated, dynamic outfit, are now set to release their new EP, Set The Pace, on Friday 15th September and it can be pre-ordered on their bandcamp page. But, in advance of release, Moshville Times has an exclusive breakdown of the background behind each track.

Set the Pace

The EP’s namesake “Set The Pace” is based on the realisation that we are sometimes our own worst enemy and that if you need to change something about yourself then it’s up to you to set the pace. The music video for this song can be seen at the foot of this review.

Of Revelations

Next up, we have “Of Revelations”. This song talks about the complexities and confusions that arise in relationships as well as their consequences. It’s also about the struggle to define yourself as an individual when you’ve never been alone. There’s a lyric video for “Of Revelations” on YouTube.

Bloom

“Bloom” talks about the rise of rebellion in the middle East in recent years and about not being complacent, always striving for something better or more.
