UK ferocious alt-rock crew Saint Apache have been picking up widespread acclaim for their politically-spiked heavy rock which has picked up warm comparisons to Gallows, RATM and Queens Of The Stoneage. We are pleased to bring you an exclusive track-by-track breakdown for each of the songs included on the band’s new EP Wolf Machine, which is out via all platforms on 21st July.

The whole EP Wolf Machine is based on corruption, corporations and governments of the world. “Wolf” lending itself to the corrupt organisations and the “machine” being the subconscious feeling that it all runs a lot deeper than we think! All in all the wolf machine is the thing that controls us and the world around us.
“You’re Not A Slave” is about not being a slave to the world you live in, to the products you buy, the clothes you wear, to the governments and banks that rob us of our humanity. Corporations brainwash us into believing we need certain things and to be a certain way. So many people fall into this trap. The song is explaining that we are all slaves in the beginning but we can break free of these invisible chains and make a change in our lives. We are all human. We don’t need materialistic things to live and survive. Life is about more.
“The Story Doesn’t End Here” echoes track one’s meaning. The world has an underline of chaos that we wish we could just ignore. If we stand up and be counted we can make our own choices in this life. We are our own gods and creators! The story doesn’t end here because this is just the beginning. Watch the video below.
“Halfway Dead” is a song about getting older and things not changing from years back! And thinking you’ll be halfway dead before anything changes but it’s a positive meaning that no matter how old we get we still fight for what we want.
“Wolf Machine” is the title track on the EP that gives its name to the corruption of corporations and the governments that control them. The unnecessary wars and killings every year of millions of innocent people, rigged elections and poverty which people still live in in most parts of the world where the machine takes the majority of the money and the 99% suffer. Endless blood shed over money, power and oil. Soldiers die all for the machine to grow. Bring down the wolf machine!
