Wildfire Band Profile – Standing Like Statues

In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!

Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.

Name: Standing Like Statues

From: Cambs.

Playing: Saturday, 14:20

Standing like Statues are a five piece, double fronted, alternative rock band from Cambridgeshire. They are Jamie Wiltshire on vocals, Beth Dalton with vocals and bass, Meitar Blumenfeld on guitar, Nigel Ferguson on guitar and vocals and Greg Warcup on drums.

They first started out in 2012 and have been going from strength to strength ever since. They are influenced by the likes of Four Year Strong, Taking Back Sunday and Blink 182, and regularly gig up and down the country playing shows and festivals expanding their ever increasing fan base.

Following the highly successful release of recent single “Daytime TV”, the band are currently putting the final touches on new material with studio time imminent. 2017 will see Standing Like Statues with a brand new release and shows all across the UK… including ours!

Come to the Indomitus stage, sponsored by Moshville Times, at Wildfire Festival and be part of that ever increasing fanbase!
