In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!
Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.

Mallen are a female-fronted five-piece melodic heavy rock band from the West Midlands, formed in 2013. Two years later the band released their debut EP Ignition which was well received and sparked a stream of gigs for the band, including some great opening slots for bands like Funeral for a Friend as well an appearance at the LG Forum stage at the Birmingham NEC during Mötley Crüe’s farewell tour.
In November 2016 Mallen released the single “Jack of Cards”, which features groove-filled riffs, sweeping, melodic verses and punchy choruses. In April, Mallen published a lyric video for the second single “Owes You Nothing” from their forthcoming EP, which is an empowering and uplifting ballad showcasing Kelly Jane’s fantastic rock vocals.
