In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!
Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.
From: Essex
Playing: Saturday, 13:30
Killatrix are an interesting mix of Essex electro, Nu-metal and rock. They met in Shutupfools Studios in Essex whilst playing with different groups and decided to try something new. In 1995 they released their first single “Overcome”. Ollie Winberg of BBC Essex described it as “a future classic”.
On vocals they have Sin Dii, on bass and also vocals Chris Frisbee, Sam Scarlet with guitar and vocals, and finally Chris, their new drummer. They describe their influences as Skindred, My Chemical Romance and Avenged Sevenfold amongst others.
Certainly a band to catch at Wildfire for something new and different. See them at the Indomitus stage, sponsored by Moshville Times!
