In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!
Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.

A Ritual Spirit consists of Oli (vocals/guitar), Steve (guitar), Dave (drums) and Martin (bass). The band formed in 2010 and after a demo and self titled EP, they released their debut album Carnival Carnivorous in 2013 on their own label, Disposable Noise. Since then they have been touring the UK gaining fans wherever they play, and are ready to release the new single “Residue” just before their Wildfire appearance.
What can you expect of their live show? Well our own Gavin Lowrey caught them in action in March this year:
They ripped through their seven song set with style … stating that their influences range from Metallica to Pearl Jam to Rancid, the set was an eclectic mix of tunes that entertained the crowd and gave the evening a great start.
And that was without Martin, who’d sadly been hospitalised shortly before the show. We hope he’s fit and well for June 24th!
