Brief History: Housed in a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse, Village Underground is a non-profit space for creativity and culture in the heart of East London, hosting everything from concerts and club nights to theatrical performances and exhibitions. On the roof-top you will find old tube carriages that have been renovated and turned into office spaces.

Personal Experience: It was here that I got one of my first ever photopasses to shoot a long-standing favourite (non-rock) artist of mine: Gabrielle Aplin.

Notable Acts Played There: The Shins, Gabrielle Aplin.

Highlights Coming Up: Black Honey on 27 March.
