What are we listening to?

Head musicJust a little random post I thought I would throw up. This afternoon I pinged the Moshville Times Crew and asked them the simple question: “What song or album are you listening to at the moment?” No cheating allowed, no swiftly popping on Iron Maiden to fit in… just whatever was on the mp3 player when the question arrived or the last piece of music listened to otherwise.

The results were nicely varied! Feel free to respond in the comments or on facebook with your own music.

Mosh: when I thought about asking the question, I had Steady Damage by Fit For Rivals on in the car. When I actually sent the question to the group, I was listening to Slayer’s “Ghosts of War” – a random track courtesy of asking my phone to “play Slayer”.

Gary: Best of Lynyrd Skynyrd

Rach: Heck’s Instructions album

Katie: Rammstein, particularly the Rosen Rot album – “Mann Gegen Mann”, “Wo Bist Du”, & “Rosen Rot”

Dhylon: Between The Buried And Me – Colours

Talia: The 1985 Cast recording of Les Mis. My musical tastes are far reaching and eclectic.

Aoife: In Solitude – “To Her Darkness”

Amy: the new With Confidence album

Gavin: Parkway Drive – As We Speak

Sheggs: Sinsaenum – Echoes of the Tortured

James: I was listening to “Merciless Death” by Dark Angel, now listening to “Pale Ghost” by Carnifex (from Slow Death)

Sean: The last thing I listened to was “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye at work last night. Just part of my work-friendly playlist of 50s-present hits of various genres, but it’s great wee song nonetheless!

Ross: “Gloryhole” – Steel Panther: Live from Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage

Martin: Abbath live in Norway on YouTube… before I stuck on a Hammer horror movie and fell asleep on the couch.

Lara V: I listened to Eclipse’s Armageddonize twice in the car this afternoon.

Max: Iron Maiden’s “Run to the Hills”

Thorin: Skillet – Comatose
