
Just a sort of off-topic post related to a spam email I got earlier today which points to the fact that people really should read things rather than relying on computers… Here’s the opening couple of lines:
Hi Web team,
The reason for my email today is because I see you’ve shared information on earache in the past so I think you’ll find our guide to home remedies very interesting.
It then goes to link to some dodgy pharmacy site trying to shift drops or something to stop your inner ear from annoying you, and asks for a link to be placed on my links page. Which is part of the original “Mosher’s Music Pages” which were last updated in, I think, 2001.
Now, it’s true. We have shared information on Earache… with a capital “E”. The record label, not the medical complaint!
