Long term fan of the dark arts since my mate discovered a Somewhere in Time tape (yes tape!) in the lane next to my house and brought it around for a listen….ah the start of a wonderful journey! Currently balancing my love of all things metal with a proper job and a wife and two amazing kids (two more disciples to indoctrinate…..!).

Most embarrassing album owned: A certain debut by a certain Ms B Spears. It was a present but I was caught listening to it – eek!
First gig: Iron Maiden with Anthrax – Ingliston Showground – December 11th 1990
Favourite gigs: Obituary on World Demise Tour at Glasgow Garage, Sepultura on Arise Tour at the Barrowlands, Wacken Open Air 2007 (At the Gates and Carcass comebacks!)
Favourite drink: Any decent craft beer, bourbon, van rouge, all washed down by a nice peppermint tea (keeps you regular, you know).
Favourite food: Curry, anything hearty cooked in an earthen pot and preferably eaten by the fire of a winter’s eve accompanied by some brooding metal!
