Once again playing weekend catchup after a bumper week of videos deluging our inbox. It’s a nice problem to have…

Myles Kennedy – “Year Of The Tiger”

Following the recent announcement about his debut solo album Year Of The Tiger, Myles Kennedy has now shared the video for its compelling title track, giving fans a first glimpse of what’s in store on the new record.

Directed by Dan Sturgess, the video is based on a concept created from a discussion between Kennedy and his manager. The video follows a reflective Kennedy as he travels through the memory of the loss of his father in 1974 – the year of the tiger.

Year Of The Tiger is currently available for pre-order in various bundle configurations. Starting today, the album is also available for digital pre-order and fans that order the album digitally will receive an instant download of the title track. The song is also available at all streaming services today including Spotify and Apple Music.

Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa – “Black Coffee”

Grammy winning Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa are back with their new duet album Black Coffee which will be released on 26th January 2018 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group.

It has been four years since Grammy nominated and number 1 Billboard Blues album Seesaw was released by singer-songwriter and blues-rock powerhouse Beth Hart and guitar hero Joe Bonamassa. Since then, they have both been on fire, both in the studio and live. So, the time was perfect to reunite for another collection of ten soul gems that encompass Hart’s breath-taking vocals and Joe’s masterfully expressive playing.

We’ve got a brand new video for the title track “Black Coffee” here.

Daggerplay – “Cruel Wind Blowing”

Helsinki punks Daggerplay end 2017 with a bang with the release of new single “Cruel Wind Blowing”. The new track fizzes by in 3 minutes of old-school punk rock energy and fist-in-the-air melodies reminiscent of genre heavyweights Rancid and The Clash, and is accompanied by a stylish Sin City-inspired video.

Fahran – “State of Mind”

They have toured with bands such as Heaven’s Basement, Kamelot, The Answer, UFO amongst many others, have two successful albums behind them and having played prestigious UK festivals such as Bloodstock, Download Festival, Hard Rock Hell and many more. Now, Fahran have just announced they will be adding Amplified festival 2018 to their extensive festival repertoire.

Before that, the Midlands based hard rockers are back with their new single “State Of Mind”. The song addresses the issue of mental health and has been created from a two point perspective. It delivers an interesting narrative and visually fast paced video combining performance with storyline.

Letters From The Colony – “Erasing Contrast”

On February 16th, prog metal architects Letters From The Colony will guide listeners into their world of math metal, crushing death elements and virtuosic shoegaze, all united in their debut album Vignette. After announcing their signing to Nuclear Blast, a calm before the storm prevailed until now. In the lead-up the five young Swedes from Borlänge present the video for their first single “Erasing Contrast”.

Sixth Extinction – “Your Gallows Await”
