Satyricon – “To Your Brethren in the Dark”

With the recent release of their ninth studio album, Deep Calleth Upon Deep (you can read James’ review here), black metal groundbreakers Satyricon have proven they still lead the way in extreme music.  Today they unveil a brand new video for the track, “To Your Brethren in the Dark”.

Sons of Apollo – “Lost in Oblivion”

Sons of Apollo – former Dream Theater members Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), Billy Sheehan (The Winery Dogs, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth) and Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Journey, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force) – has just released the Vicente Cordero-directed video for “Lost In Oblivion” from their highly anticipated debut album, Psychotic Symphony.

Gold Key – “Kerosene”

Watford’s Gold Key unveil their solitary new video for Kersosene. Featuring viscous layers of sound and intricately placed motifs, alongside both haunting and explosive vocals from Steve Sears, the track reflects on feelings of loneliness. Kerosene features on Gold Key’s hugely ambitious forthcoming debut album Hello Phantom due 27th October on Venn Records. The track follows previous single Creep In Slowly which garnered across the board support from rock radio including BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock and TeamRock Radio.

Perfect Blue Sky – “Wasteland”

Multinational band, Perfect Blue Sky, have released a new music video for “Wasteland”, the double-A side to “Astronaut” single, digital out today. Anthemic, catchy and reminiscient of “If Fleetwood Mac had a baby with Pink Floyd/The Who/Pearl Jam/Led Zeppelin” it would sound like “Wasteland”.

The Modern Age Slavery – “The Theory of Shadows”

Italian death metal/deathcore stalwarts The Modern Age Slavery have released a lyric video for “The Theory of Shadows,” a track from forthcoming album Stygian.

InAir – “Rise Again”

InAir are delighted to unveil their brand new video for “Rise Again”, the first track taken from their new EP A Different Light. As the rousing chorus proudly declares “We will keep on reaching for the skies…”, it’s a message not only for the band but for people everywhere. When tough times appear, keep your focus on the something better, knowing that the trials are only a small step on the journey.
