Video Roundup: Body Count, Fifth Freedom, Power Quest, King King, Devine Electric, Genus Ordinis Dei

We’ve missed a day or so with being so busy bringing you more reviews and so forth. Making it up, as ever, with another great round-up…

Body Count – “This Is Why We Ride”

The latest single / video from Body Count‘s incredible Bloodlust album (reviewed by Mosh). What will it take to get them to tour the UK again?!

Fifth Freedom – “Midnight Rain”

Southern rock band Fifth Freedom has released the official music video for the single “Midnight Rain” off of their 2016 sophomore album Heartbreak & Hellfire.

“Midnight Rain”, is a bluesy ballad shouted from the very depths of singer, Alan Jones’ soul. It’s a song about moving on from a love lost by knife-twisting betrayal. “Midnight Rain” showcases the band’s earnest songwriting as well as their technical chops.

Power Quest – “Lords of Tomorrow”

Power Quest, the renowned melodic power metal band based in the UK just released a music video for “Lords of Tomorrow”, the second single from their long awaited 6th album Sixth Dimension. The album will be released on October 13th via Inner Wound Recordings in Europe/USA and on October 11th in Japan via Marquee/Avalon.

The band are on tour with DragonForce across the UK, starting tonight in Glasgow (see you there!)

King King – “Long Time Running”

The new album from King KingExile & Grace, comes out on October 13th (Ross reviewed it for us) and the band begin touring this month with their new keyboardist Jonny Dyke (ex-James Morrison and Elkie Brooks). Jonny has replaced Bob Fridzema as King King’s official keyboard player – welcome to the band, Jonny!

Devine Electric – “Don’t Lie To Me”

Sydney’s Devine Electric has released a new video from their recently released self titled new album. Formed in 2005, when pretentious and lack lustre acts were dominating the local Sydney venues, Devine Electric brought a raw and uplifting form of dirty rock crashing back into the local scene.

Genus Ordinis Dei – “Halls of Human Delights”

Symphonic death metal quartet Genus Ordinis Dei have released a new single and music video for the song “Halls of Human Delights”. The impressive music video was directed by Steve Saints, and filmed on location at Villa Cavour in Trino, Italy.

“Halls of Human Delights” is the first single taken from their upcoming second full-length album entitled Great Olden Dynasty which will see a global release on November 24, 2017 via Eclipse Records.
