Saturday Video Roundup: Anthrax, The Darker My Horizon, Woslom, In Death…

You know when you’re on holiday and you lose track of the days because you’ve no routine or timetable? Yeah. That.

Anthrax – “Suzerain”

To coincide with the announcement of a “Tour Edition” of recent album For All Kings, Anthrax have released a lyric video for “Suzerain”. The album itself ties in with their announcement of European dates next year where they’ll be playing Among The Living in its entirety. Colour me excited. Drummer Charlie Benante commented on the bonus material:

We’ve included some of the demos from For All Kings in this package. We wanted to show the evolution of the songs. The idea of a song can start from a guitar riff or a thought in your head. It then takes shape and goes from my music to Scott’s lyrics to Frank and Joey’s ideas and melodies to Jon’s lead guitar. This is our way of making ANTHRAX music – ENJOY!

The Darker My Horizon – “Dear Olivia”

The Darker My Horizon featured on Sheggs’ end of year list and, by coincidence, they’ve just released a new video so you can find out why he likes them so much.

Woslom – “Underworld of Aggression”

Back to the thrash, this time from Brazil. Woslom have posted a new music video for their fan favorite “Underworld of Aggression” off their latest album A Near Life Experience released earlier this year.

The video was recorded during Woslom’s European tour and captures images from behind the scenes in Germany, Russia plus Switzerland along with clips from Brazil’s Maximus Fest. The video was directed and edited by Diogo Alvino.

In Death… – “Godzilla”

Not heavy enough for you? Give this beast a try. As heavy as the titular lizard, “Godzilla” stomps in from Australia courtesy of death merchants In Death… (the ellipses are part of the name, don’tchya know). The track is from forthcoming debut album The Devil Speaks which is pencilled in for a February 2017 release.
