Thursday Video Roundup: Black Stone Cherry, The Jokers, Brutai, Calamity

It’s that time of the week where I’m spoiled for choice. Thursdays are always a problem! On the other hand it should mean you’re getting the cream of the crop… lucky you!

Black Stone Cherry – “Shakin’ My Cage”

In the wake of this summer’s headline slot at Ramblin’ Man Fair, Black Stone Cherry hit the road this week for their last batch of UK dates this album cycle. Instead of playing big arenas, this time around they undertake a more extensive run of dates in the intimate setting of theatres. The tour is dubbed ‘Experience Kentucky: An Evening With Black Stone Cherry.’

There is also one extra date – tomorrow at the Cathouse in Glasgow, an even more intimate date in aid of Nordoff Robbins. No surprise, that one sold out ages ago… but of course, we’ll be there!

The Jokers – “Silver City”

Classic Hard Rockers The Jokers release a brand new single “Silver City”, with B/side “Summer Time”, taken from their highly-acclaimed third album, Hurricane. “Silver City” is a power-driven, hypnotic, sing-a-long rock tune with an infectious chorus and a groove you can’t help but move to. The band are thrilled to premiere the song’s exciting new video, with the single being released on Friday, 18th November.

Brutai – “Never Change”

Propelling their career to new heights since signing to Transcend Music for the release of their debut album, Brutai have now unleashed their second video single for “Never Change” which clearly demonstrates their natural ability to shine – (with the help of some UV lights!).

Calamity – “End of the Road”

Puerto Rico-based hardcore thrashers, Calamity, recently released their new single, “End Of The Road”, which was produced by Ramon Ortiz (Puya, Ankla). Vocalist/guitarist Berny Santos says:

With this single we wanted to show our followers the path we are taking before starting on our second album. We would say we went heavier this time, and the new ideas we are writing are taking pretty much the same direction; heavier, deeper and more powerful.
