Ah, weekend looming! Waste some of your precious lunchtime checking out these videos from bands you can spend the rest of your afternoon looking up online so you don’t get any work done.

The “Defiling Paradise” clip was directed by Miki Simankevicious, shot by Cameron Zayec and edited by Aaron Carroll and was shot in a private blue stone quarry in Avalon, VIC. This single is the first sample of the album, which explores the themes of humans’ destruction of the world’s natural resources.
Hieroglyph – “Starlight”

The single has been championed by Kerrang Radio’s Alex Baker and BBC Radio Yorkshire on their BBC Introducing show and the video premiered with Terrorizer magazine earlier this week.
Vanna – “Mutter”
Boston post-hardcore band Vanna have premiered their new video for “Mutter”. The song is taken of recently released album All Hell released via Pure Noise Records. Vanna will be supporting Beartooth on tour in the UK this December. Frontman Davey Muise spoke about ‘Mutter’:
Growing up there were always songs that became anthems to my friends and I. Songs that had a message and gave me meaning as soon as I taped them off the radio. Songs that still make me wanna get up and break something. When writing this record, that was our goal, to write anthems. “Mutter” is that angry shut up and smash track. All day long whether it’s in our heads or people in our face, we are torn down, judged and sometimes we defeat ourselves before anyone can do it for us. This song is that middle finger to all those voices, that freedom we need. It’s our declaration, it’s our voice louder then any other. Hit play, turn it too high and destroy every problem in your path.
Johnossi – “Weak Spots” (Live At Gröna Lund, Stockholm)
