Wednesday Video Roundup: Anti-Clone, MeltDown, Lazlo, Deranged

As ever, there are days when we don’t quite get enough videos in, so we dig and trawl to fill the spaces… and then half an hour later we get a slew of brilliant new releases which have to be carried over to the next day. Such was Tuesday. Enjoy the spillover!

Anti-Clone – “Astaroth”

They’re one of the most talked about British underground metal bands of 2016. Following premieres by Scuzz TV and Kerrang Magazine (well, we have to give them a chance to get a few hits once in a while), Anti-Clone have released their twisted new music video, “Astaroth”. Frontman Mr Clone explains:

The lesser key of Solomon states that he giveth true answers of things past, present, and to come, and can discover all secrets. The new video explores a man performing an invocation of this demon, to reveal the true nature of this world.

Catch the band live on the following dates:

  • 29th Oct – Sheffield – Corporation (with Evil Scarecrow)
  • 7th Nov – London – O2 Islington Academy (with Dope)
  • 11th Nov – Chester – Live Rooms
  • 26th Nov – Leeds – Leeds University
  • 27th Nov – Nottingham – The Maze

MeltDown – “Trust Fall”

Tucson, Arizona based rap rock band MeltDown have released the official music video for their track “Trust Fall” from their upcoming debut album No Filter due out in early 2017.

Lazlo – “Man Up”

Lazlo are an exciting band from the North of England that have a whole heap of exciting stuff up their sleeve. The first of which being their latest single “Man Up”. The band have already hit the road with bands like Feeder and The Pigeon Detectives, as well as an appearance at Reading and Leeds festivals.

Deranged – “The Frail Illusion Of Osteology”

Long-running Swedish death metallers Deranged have premiered a lyric video for their new track “The Frail Illusion Of Osteology”, featured on the band’s upcoming album Struck By A Murderous Siege. The album is scheduled for an October 28th release on Agonia Records. Guitar player & main songwriter, Thomas Ahlgren, commented on the album – their first in five years:

The new Deranged album, titled Struck by a Murderous Siege is a blend of classical Deranged brutality with a bit of new elements that will fit perfectly both old and new Deranged fans. You can be sure about that! The album, consisting of five fast, grinding and shredding songs and three heavy mid-tempo tunes, will give the listener the most interesting and varied Deranged album so far. Prepare to hear the echoes of serial killers and brutality!
