Monday Video Roundup: Altered Sky, Awooga, Meet Me At the Gates, Xaon

Videos Roundup Header

Monday can go and do one. Idiot drivers, idiot pedestrians, battling a cold and IT problems. Glad I have a world of rock and metal to fall back on…

Altered Sky – “Livewire”

The most recent video from Glasgow’s Altered Sky who play their biggest headline gig to date at the city’s Garage venue on Saturday night. We’ll be there – you should be too!

Awooga – “Where The Others Go”

Less bouncy, more tripped-out, Awooga announce their new album Alpha, with a release date of December 9th. Alpha is their first album and the perfect introduction to their dark yet humorous world.

Meet Me At the Gates – “Life In Two”

After two successful singles, metalcore up-and-comers Meet Me At The Gates has just released their brand new single, the title track of their forthcoming new EP. The music video is for the title track off the self-produced five track Life In Two EP. Guitarist Jason LeBouton has this to say about the video:

The song/video is the outline for the entire EP. The concept, feel, sound, everything. The idea behind it is that good and evil are always on your shoulders through everything you experience in your life, and how you perceive your situation depends on which side you let through. At the same time, the video, song, and EP is meant to show anyone and everyone going through a hard time that there’s always going to be times uncertainty and troubles in their lives, but no one is alone, and things will always get better so long as you take the initiative to persevere through the darkness and reach the light.

Xaon – “When the Everlasting Gardens Die Away”

Swiss dark metal band XAON have released the official music video for “When the Everlasting Gardens Die Away,” a song from forthcoming EP Face of Balaam. The EP is out on October 16th.
