Friday Video Roundup: Dead Eyes, Better Than Never, Wild Zombie Blast Guide, Shadecrown

Where the hell has the last week just gone? Anyone else get the feeling that someone, somewhere has reduced the standard hour to 45 minutes?

Dead Eyes – “American Nightmare”

Hard rock quintet Dead Eyes, formerly known as Vital Signs, have released their debut music video and single “American Nightmare”. The single, produced by Curtis Martin and Rob Endling at Bloodstone Studios and mixed and mastered by Nick Scott, (Attila, I See Stars, Miss May I) comes from the band’s debut EP which is to be announced and released early 2017.

Better Than Never – “Learning to Swim”

In support of their forthcoming EP Head Under Water, Oxford pop punk sextet Better Than Never have released the video for track “Learning To Swim”. Vocalist James Harris says of the piece, which can be seen here:

It’s a track which particularly resonated with all of us. We decided the concept would be that our friend Keiran having a bit of a tough time, which he decides to remedy by smashing stuff up. You have no idea how much fun we had trashing a Macbook, a bass and riding a bike into a swimming pool.

The EP is out on December 2nd and the band are on the road across the UK in early January.

Wild Zombie Blast Guide – “Looking Back”

German thrashers Wild Zombie Blast Guide have released a new single on Bandcamp featuring three songs along with the premiere of their brand new lyric video for the track “Looking Back”.

Entitled The Singles, you can get this release in digital format for 1 Euro only, which also contains a special lyric sheet in PDF format. In addition, there is the possibility to buy a physical copy of the complete album.

Shadecrown – “The Ruins Of Me”

Finnish melancholic melodic death metallers Shadecrown released their critically acclaimed debut album Agonia yesterday. The band also released a brand new lyric video today from the track “The Ruins Of Me”.
