Thursday Video Roundup: Baroness, Technical Work, SEASONS, Kingbreaker

Here we go with another collection of new visual treats…

Baroness – “Try To Disappear”

Baroness recently released Purple, the band’s first album since the horrific bus crash in 2012 which resulted in horrific injuries to the driver and the band. Following up the album release is this video for “Try to Disappear”. You can get the album as a [amazon text=digital download&asin=B014FBJ0F0], [amazon text=CD&asin=B014JRCA34] or on [amazon text=vinyl&asin=B014JRCA98].

Technical Work – “Once”

We got no information through about this video and band, but I listened to it anyway (hey, why not?) and the song is an absolute belter. If your volume doesn’t go up to 11, put an extra sticker on it and twist the knob harder to ramp it up there.

SEASONS – “Empire”

Bedfordshire rockers SEASONS are delighted to bring you their new video, titled “Empire”. This track is one for lovers of big riffs and catchy choruses, and see’s Seasons bring a fresh, unique sound to the rock scene. The single will be available everywhere through Square State Records on the 3rd of September, but you can check out the video right now!

Kingbreaker – “Straitjacket”

Kingbreaker is Spinky, Gabriel, Tom and Mikko, a new London-based band of metalheads from four different countries and two different hemispheres, drawn together by the need to play music, the desire to do something a little different, to create, to perform, to headbang, to rock.

“Straitjacket” is a dark, searing melodic rocker, drenched with Spinky’s powerful vocals and driven along by huge riffs and an irrepressible rhythm section. Veering off the usual rock path, Kingbreaker are making their own way by blending their rock, alternative and gothic influences, coming up with a sound uniquely their own and pretty damn fabulous with it. An exciting future awaits this hugely talented band.
