Friday Video Roundup: Magoa, Red Dawn, Kadavar, The Greasy Slicks

Half a day to go. Have these little beauties to tide you over until the bell goes for hometime.

Magoa – “Resistance”

French band Magoa are back to tear your eardrums into little pieces. Here’s a sample from their latest album, Imperial, which is due out on October 14th. You can pre-order it on Amazon..

Red Dawn – “Hate”

French technical death metal group Red Dawn have just shared a new music video for the track “Hate”, taken from the band’s first full-length album Algorithm Of Destruction, out now on Finisterian Dead End. You can download the album from Amazon or grab it on CD.

Kadavar – “Reich Der Träume”

Kadavar have released the fourth video for the Berlin visual album concept. Watch “Reich der Träume” below.

Together with long-time friend and collaborator Nathini van der Meer, who has created artwork and videos for them in the past, they are working on their first “Visual Album”- 12 short films accompanying each of the album’s songs, to be released once a month throughout the entirety of the year.

The band commented:

The song was originally written for Nico by Lutz Graf (LÜÜL), known for his work with bands like Ash Ra Tempel, Agitation Free or 17 Hippies. It is the first song Lupus sings German on. We liked the heavy mood of the song. Within the music as well as in the lyrics. It’s one of the most beautiful Nico songs which unfortunately was barely recognized until now. We were very proud when we got LÜÜL’s blessing to cover the song.

Berlin is available from Amazon on CDspecial edition CDvinyl and as a digital download.

The Greasy Slicks – “Hawks”

The Greasy Slicks have also announced details of their debut album which will be released on 30th September. They will be headlining the ‘Invaders Of The Future Stage’ at this year’s Bestival. Drummer Rian has this to say on the album:

It’s a massive relief to have our debut album out. It’s been a year in the making and because of that we’ve developed as songwriters throughout the recording process. We’re incredibly excited for people to hear it – it’s something different.

You can pre-order the self-titled release via Amazon.
