Friday Video Roundup: Alter Eden, Mouses, Brain Tentacles, Naberus

Five Friday Films…

Alter Eden – “Colourless”

With the Midlands having a long and rich history of delivering great bands, it is no surprise that Stoke rockers Alter Eden are delivering seriously good music and keeping the tradition alive.

Alter Eden have just released a video for the new single “Colourless” which is taken from their next EP which is set for release in early 2017. “Colourless” is a great introduction to the heavy hitting yet accessible rock sound that Alter Eden are gaining a name for. Colourless can be purchased on iTunes right now.

Speaking about the idea behind the tongue-in-cheek visuals, front man Steven Bardgett said:

The video is our take on a nature documentary. It kind of amplifies the idea that nature should be viewed and experienced rather than controlled or tampered with. Also, we just wanted to dress up as mice and run around to be honest. That’s probably the main reason.

Things got off to a slow start. On the first day of filming for this, we drove about 40 minutes to Castle Eden Dene to get some footage. When we were in the middle of the forest ready to start filming, some people rode through on quad bikes and motorbikes. They looked at us for a while and we got scared so we just went back home.

Brain Tentacles – “Fruitcake”
