Thursday Video Roundup: Burn It Up, Nuclear Chaos, A Rebel Few, Wild Americans

If this post doesn’t appear, please don’t bother letting us know as we’ll be most of the way down to Bloodstock and won’t be checking our emails. Woooo!

Burn It Up – “Affluenza”

Burn It Up (formerly Mrs Skannotto) have announced their new album Toys, scheduled for release on October 14th. You can check out the first single / music video, titled “Affluenza” below and download it for free from Bandcamp.

Nuclear Chaos – “Shockwave”

Mexico’s melodic death metal quartet Nuclear Chaos are now busy tracking the follow up to their last release Ruins Of The Future. The band comments:

The new record is very different from what we did in the past but it keeps the Nuclear Chaos essence intact. The album will contain many different influences going from melodic death metal to latin metal. We are very excited about this release and this album will show a stronger and more mature Nuclear Chaos.

With a title yet to be revealed, and a release date slated for early 2017 the band have a new single to bridge the gap. Coinciding with the new single, entitled ‘Shockwave’, the band have also unleashed a new music video for it. The video was shot in Templo San Lázaro (St. Lazarus Temple), an abandoned church from the 1520’s in Mexico City. It was shot, directed and edited by Frank Fletcher and Ponce Chiefs from the Mexican studios Soberbios Films.

A Rebel Few – “Rebel Few”

This past April, Canada’s A Rebel Few unleashed their debut album As The Crow Flies produced by Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Rush, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Beastie Boys, Pantera). The album features nine tracks of heavy shredding guitars with a huge rhythm section and a gravel-blasted soulful voice for straight up in your face rock n roll to add to their lyrical themes of empowerment.

The band has a new video for their track “Rebel Few”. If ya dig old school Southern groove metal, click “Play” below…

Wild Americans – “I Wanna Take You Home”

New Jersey trio Wild Americans have announced their debut EP Lighten Up will be released on September 9th. The four-song record was engineered by John Ferrara of Trophy Scars and mastered by Scott Hull, who has mastered music for Sting, Bob Dylan, John Mayer, and many more. The music video for the lead single “I Wanna Take You Home” showcases the band’s mellow sound. The track makes for a perfect end of summer jam and certainly sets the tone for the rest of the EP.
