Sunday Video Roundup: Bastille, Crobot, Carnifex, Ringworm

The sun is shining, the birds are cowering in their nests and metal is blasting out over the field up on which Wildfire is taking place… probably. I’m actually writing this on Wednesday night, but let me hope…

Bastille – “Good Grief”

Radio 1 track of the day recently, but don’t hold that against it, “Good Grief” is a nice piece of laid back rock from Bastille’s forthcoming “Wild World” album. The video is pretty interesting – the band say this about it:

We were excited to be able to work with NYSU (Wild Beasts, New Order, Philip Selway) on the video which was shot over 6 or so days in Madrid. It is like a mad visual Rubik cube that takes a load of archetypal narrative scenarios and then twists and collides them together. We wanted to make something fun and chaotic and surreal that would serve as a fittingly odd accompaniment to the song.

Crobot – “Not For Sale”

Central Pennsylvania-based rockers, Crobot have released a new lyric video for their latest single, “Not For Sale”. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album, Welcome To Fat City set for release on 23rd September via Nuclear Blast.

Carnifex – “Six Feet Closer To Hell”

Carnifex have dropped another track leading up to the August 5 release of their new album Slow Death. Listen to “Six Feet Closer to Hell” below.

Ringworm – “Shades of Blue”

Cleveland hardcore/thrash heavyweights Ringworm have just shared a new music video from their forthcoming full-length Snake Church via Stereogum. The album is due out on July 29th.
