Friday Video Roundup: (Mindshift, The Dollyrots, The Decomposers, Merge)

And another week ends, pummeled and left for dead in the dust as the two-day release beckons. Celebrate with some kick-ass tuneage…

Mindshift – “Horizon”

This is the title track from Mindshift’s upcoming album (out on April 29th). Ask nicely, or give them your email address anyway, and you can have it as a free download. Mindshift vocalist Mao describes the track:

Horizon is about the senseless tragedy of things that happen in the world around us. The Charlie Hebdo attack, the brutal massacre at the Bataclan Concert Hall, the senseless wars in the Middle East, etc… One day I just asked myself, what can I do to make this world survive, prevent it from tearing itself apart?

The Dollyrots – “Save Me”

We bloody love The Dollrots here, we do, and they’ve just released a new single/lyric video. “Save Me” is probably one of the best songs out of a great bunch on recent EP Mama’s Gonna Knock You Out. We reviewed it here.

The Decomposers – “Blood Runs Cold”

A bit of alt-rock from British mob The Decomposers now. Their debut EP Born Out of Silence is released on May 6th and this is the second track to be released from it.

Merge – “The Exit”

Ending the run today with a track from French rockers Merge’s upcoming album. No news on title or release date as yet, but have a listen and decide if it’s one you want to keep an eye out for.
