The new track release “Phoenix” is taken from the band’s worldwide acclaimed album Polaris. On the track & video clip vocalist Dan Tompkins comments:

It’s only when we pause for that brief second of silence that we recognise the constant idle chatter that consumes our conscious mind. It’s only when we cease to be consumed by our material needs and inward focus that we begin to see those around us that struggle. “Phoenix” is a song about the selfless; those with perspective; those of us who are outward focused, seeking a life of change and positive impact, encouraging others to challenge and shake the foundations of who and what they are.

TesseracT would also like to put the record straight regarding reports of a forthcoming release for Summer 2016 that fans may have seen online:

For our fans that have read the online articles suggesting new material in 2016 – we hate to disappoint but that was in fact an excerpt of an interview between James and Pete Bailey of Team Rock that was taken out of context and mis-represented. We do plan to have some re-workings of Polaris songs but as for new songs, that is for 2017!
